May 19th show at The Mint to benefit Team in Training

I am happy to announce that proceeds from my May 19th gig at The Mint will be going to an excellent cause: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s “Team In Training.” My friend Adam Krim is running the San Diego Rock and Roll Marathon on June 3rd to raise money for Team in Training, and everyone who comes to the show on May 19th will be helping him reach his fund-raising goal. If you can’t make the show, you can go directly to Adam’s Team in Training site to donate: Adam’s Donation Site

So, come on out, hear some amazing music, and support a great cause!

Being a part of the Green Apple Festival

I recently took part in The Green Apple Music Fest. This Fest took place in 3 cities: New York, San Francisco, and Chicago, with artists like Dave Matthews and Willie Nelson working on spreading the word about environmental responsibility.

I performed in New York on 4/20 at The Cutting Room, which was one of the venues sponsoring the festival, and was able to talk to a packed house about my pet environmental issue, which is alternative energy sources and lower emissions. It was a great night for all, and I took a really cool shot of the Empire State Building, which was lit in green for the festival.
